OpenBCI is a versatile and affordable Arduino-compatible, 8-channel EEG platform that gives you access to high-quality, raw EEG data.

Watching the video, we can see that OpenBCI is actually run through the Arduino IDE directly, opening up some very interesting possibilites for a maker. Why bother with sensors when you can use the ultimate sensor: yourself! This is a pretty awesome use of open hardware.

The project also host a github organization, so check out some of the code samples available now. What would you build with a kit like this?
